Information that students need is here, yay!
Boys living in the Boarding Houses may connect their computers to the College network once they have completed the Boarding House Connection form. This allows email and internet access, as well as access to network home folders, from student-owned computers in boarding cubicles.
You will have to sign an additional access agreement, and any inappropriate use will lead to a loss of access.
No student, even boarders who have signed up for a connection, may connect their computer to the network outside of their own cubicle or room. It is a boarding house connection only.
It is important that you do not give your account details or password to any other student. You are responsible for ensuring you keep your password secure, and for all activity that takes place on your account.
Your network password is for logging into the computers and the web, and is separate from your email password. Changing one will not change the other.
In general, you will be allocated 5GB of disk space on the server. If you have a legitimate need for more space, please contact ICT Services.
Though you are allowed to keep and play computer games, they may only be played in ICT 1 and ICT 2, and only after school. You may not play games in any other location, or at any other time.
Boys who choose to play games in areas such as the Library or the Music School, and those who play them before the end of the school day, will lose their network access for two days, with no exceptions — you'll have to complete all your school work with pen and paper.
There are many printers available to boys. Use the following table to find the nearest printer that suits your needs:

If you print mostly black pages and the occasional colour page, your starting print credit will be enough for about 200 pages.
After this you'll need to purchase a print top-up card. These come in $5 and $10 amounts and are available from ICT Services and the College Library.
To activate your new credit, log into PaperCut and follow the instructions on the back of the card.
Print top-up cards are automatically charged to your College account.
The rate for printing depends upon whether you are printing black or colour, and the paper size you're using. The current rates for printing are as follows:
| type | cost per page |
|---|---|
| Black & White A4 | 3 cents |
| Black & White A3 | 6 cents |
| Colour A4 | 30 cents |
| Colour A3 | 60 cents |
